Ausbike Bicycle Expo – Open to the Public

Ausbike is hosting its first ever Bicycle Expo for the public. On Saturday 21st August, Ausbike is throwing open the doors of the Exhibition Pavilion at the Melbourne Showgrounds to anybody interested in bikes. Hundreds of exhibitors from Australia and around the globe will be showing the latest in bikes and accessories. All types of bicycle styles will be at the show included kids bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, BMX, time trail bikes, cross country bikes, hybrid bikes, tandems, trails bikes, unicycles and even four wheel surrey bikes.

Activities and events have been organized throughout the day to entertain everyone from the keenest cyclist to the beginner. A BMX competition of the exhibitor team riders, a fashion show, a range of films and seminars, a cycle speedway race, a roller-racing competition, cycle-sisters program and tracks to demo all kinds of bikes are sure to have something for everyone.

Entry to the event is $17.50 for adults ($5 discount if bike is ridden to the event), $10 for concession (full time student, pensioners, etc) and FREE entry for anyone under the age of 18 (proof of age required). Plenty of free bicycle parking has been arranged. Vehicle parking will be $5 cash at the gate per vehicle. Tickets are available online at www.ausbike.com.au .
