Woodstock on Loddon is the Home of Central Victorian Veterans Cycling
Club formed in 1994. To be eligible to compete in Veteran racing men
must be 35 years and over, and women must be 30 years and over.
Woodstock is located approx 30 kms from Bendigo and
13 kms from Newbridge.

Racing commences at 2pm entries close at 1:40pm on Saturday afternoons
generally at Woodstock, however racing is also held at Bridgewater,
Newbridge, Melville Caves, Laanecoorie, Maryborough, Mayfair Park (Criteriums)
and Castlemaine.
There are also several destinational races within the race calendar,
there are generally sufficient support people to assist with riders
to return to Woodstock for these events, please refer to race calendar
for locations and dates. Race distances vary from 35kms to 69kms for
all club racing and a heat policy (see below) exists for the summer
months.
Central Victorian veterans also run three aggregate races in conjunction
with the Victorian Veteran Cycling council, the “O’Brien
Contracting” 56kms Handicap held on the long weekend in March
every year at Woodstock on Loddon, “The Oppy Grand Prix”
68kms Handicap held generally the last Saturday in May at Rochester
and the “Ironbark Classic” 63kms Handicap held in July at
Rushworth.
HEAT POLICY: If forecast Temp 35c or above races at
Woodstock will be reduced to 35 Km Handicaps over Hot Dog Circuit, at
away locations races will be shortened, if forecast Temp 40c or above
Racing Cancelled.
